Punjab Olympic Association

The Mission of the Punjab Olympic Association is to develop, promote and protect the Olympic Movement in the Province of Punjab in accordance with the Constitution of the Punjab Olympic Association and the Olympic Charter. In order to fulfill its Mission, the Punjab Olympic Association may cooperate with Government or non-Government bodies without compromising its autonomy and independence. Also, it will never associate itself with any activity which will be in contradiction of the Olympic Charter.

ROLE

Broadly speaking, the role of the Punjab Olympic Association is to promote and develop sports in the Province of Punjab. To achieve this objective, it guides holds sports competitions at various levels and the Provincial sports bodies to spot, nurture and train sportsmen and sportswomen as also to promote sports at the grass roots level.
